Doha, Qatar – March 13, 2025: The QGET (Government Engineering College, Thrissur Alumni, Qatar Chapter) celebrated Rang-E-Garangao at Al Ghanem Gardens, bringing together 70 women and children to mark the cherished Ramadan tradition.
President Mr. Tomy Varkey opened the event, followed by a brief on Garangao’s significance by Communications and Marketing Secretary Ms. Shahna Zubair. The event was organized by Ms. Shahna Zubair, Ms. Lakshmi Sreedharan, Ms. Safvana Fathima, and Ms. Gowri Rajan, with support from Mr. Tomy Varkey, Mr. Akhil C K, and Mr. Gopu Rajasekhar.
Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, children enjoyed games, face painting, and candy-filled celebrations, while women adorned their hands with henna and captured festive moments at the photobooth. The event also featured stalls like Azra Boutique and Libas Naturals Henna Products, adding to the cultural charm.
QGET’s Rang-E-Garangao beautifully blended heritage and modern-day festivities, creating a joyful and memorable evening for the community.
