In a heartwarming display of
community spirit and soli-
darity, members of the Govt.
Engineering College, Thrissur
Alumni, Qatar Chapter (QGET)
organised an iftar event at the
MES School Auditorium. The
event witnessed the participa-
tion of approximately 250 indi-
viduals, including family mem-
bers of QGET members.
Tomy Varkey, president of
QGET, welcomed the attendee,
and iroz PT delivered the Rama-
dan message, underscoring the
importance of perseverance and
maintaining spiritual and physi-
cal purity.
Senior members of QGET
including Mathew Francis, Sal-
eem, Rajan CK, John EJ, Sherif,
Abdul Aziz, Joy, and PK Mu-
hammed graced the occasion, of-
fering their invaluable insights
and wisdom to the gathering.
Gopu Rajasekhar, General
Secretary of QGET, offered fe-
licitations, emphasizing the sig-
nificance of such gatherings in
fostering a sense of belonging
and unity among members.
Event coordinator Ilyas Saleh
expressed gratitude to all par-
ticipants for their unwavering
support.
Also members had the oppor-
tunity to delve into the heart
of community farming at MES
School , through the “Grow Your
Green Food (GYGF)” initiative
spearheaded by QGET.
