QGET always lead the way and want to do something special & innovative. QGET make sure that their activities are helpfull to the society.
GROW YOUR GREEN FOOD (GYGF)
This is a humble attempt by QGET to introduce and grow the interest in Growing Your own Food in a sustainable way.
We have a team of QGET Family members who are experienced and experts in the field , to guide and assist QGET Family Members in Growing Your Green Food in the available space and time. This program was started in QGET Family Group on Apr 15, 2023.
volunteering program
There was a big drive within QGET Family for volunteering for FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar and when the volunteer’s application was open for the same, more than 100 QGET Family Members applied for volunteering for the biggest sporting event in the world.
Meanwhile photos of QGET Volunteer Team for FIFA Arab Cup 2021 went viral in media locally and internationally.
More than half a million sign up to Volunteer in FIFA WORLD CUP Qatar 2022 & around 40 QGET Family Members got short listed for 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 Volunteers. Finally, 31 QGET Family Members were selected as Volunteers for FIFA WORLD CUP 2022. QGET also held a Helpline to assist all GEC alumni who visited Qatar from across the globe to watch FIFA World Cup 2022.
Thoughts about QGET Volunteers Team started in 2020 during FIFA Club World Cup which was hosted by Qatar. As per the information shared in QGET group, there was only one QGET volunteer for this tournament.
FIFA Arab Cup 2021 for the very first Team of 11 QGET volunteers served the tournament in various roles and in different stadiums. This team of 11 volunteers were lined up under QGET Volunteer Team and all the activities during the tournament was well organized and communicated within the team. It is continued until recently concluded Asian Football Cup 2023.
